Why: Even though this painfully labels me as a whitey, I love triphop and electronic beats. This American duo from Philly captures it for me. And I reeeeeally love this song. I’m a sucker for a good use of an affect on the voice, and the way her voice is electronically manipulated here (a many other songs) reminds me of techniques used by Imogen Heap, who has a permanent spot on my Hit-It list (even though I blogged about her yet).
